Personal and Professional Development (PPD)

The Personal and Professional Development committee provides a system to welcome and support new delegates and new professionals in the region through a variety of activities, social events, and professional networking opportunities at the Annual Conference. Additionally, this committee creates networking opportunities for professionals at all levels within the region; challenges MACUHO members to grow in all areas of personal and professional development and encourages programming efforts in a variety of areas surrounding wellness issues; provides the following programs and services:

• Pre-conference information packet
• Mentor / Mentee program
• New Delegate services, including New Delegate contest and New Delegate Orientation
• Wellness Suite at Annual Conference
• Annual Fun Run/Walk

Also, sponsors the Mid-Atlantic Placement Conference, held annually.
