The Mid-Atlantic Placement Conference (MAPC)
is a two day placement conference which gives employers and candidates
a cost-effective opportunity to make connections.
MAPC 2010
February 25-26, 2010
The main focus is on graduate, bachelor's and master's
degree entry-level residential life and housing positions in the
Mid-Atlantic region. However, in recent years the postings for mid-
and upper-level positions, positions in other Student Affairs offices
and outside the Mid-Atlantic region have increased.
Why MAPC?
The Mid-Atlantic Placement Conference began in 1996 and serves as
a regional placement conference organized by the Mid-Atlantic Association
of College and University Housing Officers (MACUHO). The format
is similar to The Placement Exchange and ACPA Career Central. It
offers an intimate setting and a cost effective search for both
candidates and employers.
• Meet potential employers and candidates without traveling
too far
• Interview regional candidates at MAPC and increase available
interview spaces at the national conference(s).
• Low prices for those on a small budget.
• A more intimate setting to meet candidates then the large
convention halls.
• MAPC is held before other conferences allowing you to meet
candidates first.
• MAPC has been making successful matches since 1996!
